Six days Block Level Foundation cum Functional Programme Begins at Aalo

Aalo 7th March: – Three days Block Level Foundation cum Functional Programme on Panchayati Raj system “Empowering Panchayati Raj system through SPICE model ‘ Aalo East assembly constituency organized by State Institute of rural Development and Panchayati Raj (SIRDA PR).
The 6 days Block Level Foundation training shall be benefitted by Panchayati members of 31st Aalo East Assembly Constituency and 30th Aalo Wet Assembly Constituency, self help group of west Siang district Aalo w.e.f 7th – 9th march and 10th -12th march respectively.
Smty Kartu Bam (circle officer) Aalo arranged the week long programme from administration side. During the training programme four Zila Parishad members (ZPMs), Gram Panchayat members, Gram chair Persons of 31st Aalo east constituency and Self Help Groups were present.
While welcoming all the participants’ project director cum DPDO Sri Jiken Bomjen request the panchayat members to acquaint the working procedure, power and functions of the elected panchayat leaders during the training period.
Mrs Higam Loyi ZPM briefing the trainees to acquire the knowledge about power and function of the panchayati Raj System. The Government of Arunachal Pradesh recently devolved the power and function to the panchayati Raj system of State.
Sri Rode Bui Assistant Director cum Resource person (SIRD) Itanagar minutely told the trainees to well equipped with good knowledge of panchayati raj system of Arunachal Pradesh. He further added Capacity building training was supposed to conduct earlier just after the completion of 6(six) months after the election as per the guidelines of the Government. Sri Bui opines that this training is to facilitate Rural development efforts by improving the knowledge, skills and attitudes of Rural development officials, panchayat leaders, grass roots level organization through conducting training, conference and seminars etc by covering the centrally sponsored schemes like MGNREGA, NRLM, NRuM etc.
The Training Programme will cover Aalo East, Aalo west, Liro Moba and Darak circle of West Siang. The Master trains of West Siang are Circle officer, technical Assistant (MGNREGA) PTA, EO (RE) etc.
All the fours attendee ZPMs and Officers requested the trainees to sincerely attend the training Programme for the benefit of public.
