Skill Development Training for plumbing and masonry under JJM

Skill development training for plumbing and masonry conducted by Department of Public Health Engineering, Kamba under Jal Jeevan Mission was inaugurated by Shri Rujum Raksap, ADC at Kamba.

             He reiterated that on completion of Jal Jeevan Mission is destined to fulfill the mission of ‘Har Ghar Nal se Jal’ by 2023 and skilled manpower is a prerequisite for maintaining the projects at rural villages. The training should be taken up with zeal and enthusiasm than attending it for certificates as trainees will have a big role to play in future for sustainability of the government’s flagship programme, he said.

            ` Er Geli Noshi, Assistant Engineer, PHE & WS Sub-division, Yomcha made a detail power point presentation on  various aspects of Jal Jeevan Mission and the purpose behind the training. While launching the same training program at Yomcha, Er Gumken Ori, Assistant Engineer, PWD, Yomcha appealed the trainees to make the best use of the opportunity and become Atmanirbhar to fulfill the vision of the government of an Atmanirbhar Bharat.

            A total of 60 unemployed youths of Darak and Kamba circles at Kamba and 52 unemployed youths of Liromoba and Yomcha circles at Yomcha will be trained in the week-long programme. Shri Gekir Karga, Principal, Govt Higher Secondary School, Kamba also attended the program at Kamba.
