Society on Road to Repair it through Social Service on Self Help Basis

On 4^th October: Altogether 275 members  consisting of youths, Market Committee members,  women wings, public were seen on road conducting social service to repair stretch of road from Darak Gate to Darak town  on self help basis. The Social Service was by Shri Tui Potom, General Secretary All Darak Youth Welfare Association starting from 2nd  October.

            The said stretch of road is steep turn while climbing up to Darak town and it is always   found in dilapidated condition causing vehicular moment difficult during monsoon. The Circle Officer Darak also coordinated the social service and large quantities of Cement and stone chips were collected from their sources to make the road durable during this winter. This Social Service of such magnitude assumes importance considering the Eco-tourism and Angling festival to be organized in the circle from second week of this month.
