Society/ Parent Felicitates Local IPS Officer from the District

Aalo 22^nd Dec:-Shri Tumme Amo, Commandant ApPP BN Aalo was felicitated by his parents Smti Ijum Amo mother, Shri Pintum Amo father and Paktu Amo Welfare Society on his recent induction in prestigious Indian Police Service, President’s Police Medal and Governor’s Gold Medal for rendering meritorious for more than two decades at Kombo Tarsu Mobuk village on 22nd December last. The Minister, Two MLAs of West Siang, Senior retired officers, DC West Siang, ZPC with team of ZPMS, mentor teachers and Head of offices were present on the occasion.

            Speaking on the occasion as Guests  Er. Tumke Bagra Minister Industries, Tax & Excise, MLA 27th Liromoba Shri Nyamar Karbak, Aalo East MLA Advocate Kento Jini, former Minister Shri Jarkar Gamlin, Kombo ZPM Shri Momar Lollen, mentor Teachers Shri  Kartum Lomi and Henkir Lollen said that the feats achieved by Shri Tumme Amo will stand as glaring example for young generation to be emulated and urged the teachers and parents to guide and play key roles in shaping the destinies of the upcoming generation to keep up the healthy trend in years to come.

            Shri Tumme Amo attributed his success to the parents, teachers and well wishers from the society and in turn felicitated them from his side too. Shri Amo had brilliant academic career right from his school days. He topped the school examinations from govt. schools right from class III to XII and graduated from Bombay University of Engineering in first class. He qualified the National Talent Search Examination and got scholarship from the govt. to manage his college education. 

            He also topped the APPS Exam conducted by APPSC in 1994 and posted as DSP at Seppa in 1995. He was ranked first in all trainings in Police academy and awarded 50th Year Independence Award as DSP. He also served as ASP at Itanagar, as SP at Ziro, Koloriang Tezu Seppa and had successful stint as the SP of Capital Comple prior to joining here as the Commandant of APP Bn  Aalo. He also graduated in History and Law from RGU in first class even in his busy service life as responsible Police Officer. He also got many other commendation certificates for his contributions to govt. in crisis and during Covid-19 times.
