The Outreach Programme by Rajya Sainik Board Reaches Mechuka

On 2^nd October:   The outreach programme started by Rajya Sainik Board for Veteran Ex Servicemen (ESM) which is being spearheaded by Lt. Col. T.C. Tayum reached Mechukha on 1^st October 2021 and accordingly a meeting was held with Ex servicemen on 2^nd October 2021 in the presence of Circle Officer and BDO, Mechukha. In the meeting Lt. Col. T.C. Tayum apprised the various benefits schemes that are being provided by Government to the ESM. He had interaction with ESM and took note of the grievances faced by them and promise to take up the matter to higher authorities to rectify the problems and shortcomings. He also advocated for early set up of ESM cell in every district so that the various schemes provided by Govt. can be availed. According to him the reason these benefits are not being availed is due to lack of knowledge of these schemes and this problem can be solved by establishment of ESM cell in every district as soon as possible.
