Two days Legal Literacy cum Training Programmes Concludes.

Aalo Ist March:- Two days Legal literacy cum Training Programme on ”Synergy between customary practices and formal laws” for Gaon Bura and Gaon Burhis of Shi Yomi, Leppa Rada, Upper Subansiri and West Siang district concluded at Gumin today.
Attending the concluding session, Smti Jaweplu Chai, Member Secretary APSLSA stressed on access to justice touching Free Legal Services through through legal Aid Clinics, Lok Adalat, Concept of Alternative Dispute Resolution and Arunachal Pradesh Victim Compensation Scheme 2011. Shri Habung Tangu, CJM cum Secretary DLSA West Siang also spoke on changing legal aspects and expressed his gratitude to one and all for make the two day event a successful one.
In the technical Session on Day Two, Shri Kebom Taso Advocate dwelt on Village Council System of Aalo and institution of GB in Arunachal under AFR, 1945, Ms. Karken Angu spoke on Criminal Justice System: FIR, Arrest, Remand, Bail Trials and role of GBs in assisting the police and district administration. The members of APWWS District Unit, GBs from the four districts and young Law students also took keen part in the day long deliberations.
