West Siang conducted 5th and Final round of Election Training

Aalo the 15^th April 2024: For the simultaneous Election 2024, the District Election Officer imparted training programme for all Presiding Officers, 1st, 2nd, 3rd & 4th Polling Officers at Nehru Memorial Govt. Hr Sec School Aalo.

          Sri Jumdo Jini ADO i/c Nodal Officer training and his trainer team imparted procedure on filling up of election form, hands on training on EVM & VVPAT, All the doubts and queries related to election procedure were minutely discussed. Now West Siang is ready for 19 April 2024.

          The West Siang District Magistrate Mamu Hage, IAS in exercise of Powers conferred upon her under section 144 of CrPC in the interest of maintaining of peace, tranquillity and public order during election period ban the following w.e.f 15/04/2024 till completion of election process.

1. Gathering or assembly of more than 4 persons in group from 8pm to 6 am in entire district of West Siang.
2. carrying of lethal weapons such as Dao, Machete, Sword, Arms, Air guns, lathis or any other weapon that can cause or incite violence within West Siang District.
