West Siang Unit of APWWS Condoles Demise of Minoty Riba.

Aalo 13th Dec: – The Arunachal Pradesh Women Welfare Society, West Siang Unit condoled the sad demise of Minoty Riba, wife of former Chief Minister Shri Tomo Riba. In a condolence message APWWS President West Siang Unit, Smti Marbom Riba Bagra said that late Minoty Riba Was the first women officer of the State Cooperative Society and was instrumental in cooperative movement at Aalo in her early days and Aalo Cooperative Society reached its zenith in her days.
She was a role model who always motivated women and young girls to join govt services at par with male counterpart to serve the womenfolk in various capacities. An Assamese by birth, she was so closely interwoven in Galo culture, literature and her contribution for the up liftmen of Galo women stands exemplary to be emulated. With her passing away vibrant women era has ended she said.
