West Siang Zilla Parishad Finalizes ZPDP-2022-23

Aalo 4^th Feb:- Zilla Parishad Development Plan (ZPDP) was held under the Chairmanship of West Siang Zilla Parishad Chairperson  Shri Babom Romin  for finalization of ZPDP 2022-23 in the conference Hall of Panchayat office today.

In his address Shri Babom Romin, ZPC exhorted all the ZPMs and HODs for their fruitful deliberations deliberation and stressed on skill development training for unemployed youths of the district. He also suggested that all the defunct school be made functional or closed down to engage teachers posted in those defunct schools. He also highlighted the used of ECCE funds parked in DPDO office and urged the Director education to issue guidelines to utilize it. He also urged the Govt. for practical devolution of power to the PRI and also raised the issue of General Ground Aalo which is lying without any progress due to which denizens are facing problems for holding any events on National and State celebration days.

The ZPMs Shri Tumpe Ete, Gumsen Lollen, Kumari Mari Kato, Shri Genya Ori and Shri Momar Lollen spoke on ZPDP and other subjects. The EE, PHED, Assistant Director T & H, BEO, DPDO & ADC-cum-Member Secretary Zilla Parishad spoke in the meeting. The Member Secretary Shri Jiken Bomjen highlighted the objective behind conducting the all important meeting.
