West Siang ZPC seeks Cooperation of all Stakeholders for a vibrant Grassroot Governance.

Aalo 18thJan:- Assuming the office of West Siang Zilla Parishad after getting elected unopposed, Shri Babom Romin ZPC has appealed all ZPMs, GPCs and functionaries of Panchayat to cooperate him in taking up over all issues concerning the welfare of the grassroot government under his leadership. He said that he will work in close coordination with Minister , MLAs and his team for proper devolution of power, functionaries and Finance to make it more vibrant in the years to come. Since it has been made functional by the present govt after a long layoff, system has to be
started from the stretch and role of Panchayat functionaries at all level has to work hard to fulfill the will and aspiration of the rural people. Hopefully govt may devolve the lists of subjects to be handled by the Panchayat and planning process has to be elaborately drawn on that basis, he said. The other ZPMs who attended the meeting also spoke on various issues concerning the institution.
